Sultan Hookah is a manufacturer and developer of hookahs and accessories, operating in both the national and international markets since 2014. In October of that year, three friends from ABC Paulista decided to invest in creating high-quality products and accessories for the hobby they shared: hookah smoking. Still teenagers at the time, Amanda, Paulo, and Rene—leveraging contacts and opportunities in the metallurgical industry—sought out suppliers, partners, and outsourced manufacturers to produce their products which, from the beginning, were designed and developed by Paulo, Rene, and their team.

Rene holds a degree in Product Design from the Mauá Institute of Technology, a renowned university in the fields of technology, engineering, and research since 1961. Amanda and Paulo both hold Law degrees from the São Bernardo do Campo School of Law, a respected municipal institution founded in 1964.

Since its founding, Sultan has always been treated with great care and professionalism by everyone involved—not only its founders but also all employees who have been part of the company. One fact Sultan is particularly proud of is its long-lasting and honest relationships with current and former employees… 100% of the people who have worked at the company maintain excellent relations to this day.

Labor and Consumer Law compliance is one of the company’s top priorities. Sultan has always followed legally established standards as the guiding principle for all actions inside and outside the company. One of the most praised characteristics of the brand is its stance and responsibility in customer service through its support platform, formally established in 2018, where the company handles inquiries, explanations, exchanges, returns, and warranties—always prioritizing the Consumer Protection Code.

A very relevant detail is that Sultan voluntarily registered on the platform Reclame Aqui, where, in addition to having the authenticity seal guaranteed by the platform, it also holds an excellent rating over its entire history.

With strong professional credibility in the market, the company has built excellent commercial relationships during its first decade with major national players such as Alcoa do Brasil, Galeazi Metais, Congraf, Sag Gráfica, among others. This success is due to Sultan’s consistent commitment to delivering high quality in its products—from raw materials and manufacturing to service provision and packaging.

All products use the highest quality raw materials, such as 6351-grade aluminum alloy, stainless steel, polyacetal, and finishes like stainless-steel micro-particle sandblasting and anodized coating. Quite literally, everything that is best and most advanced in the industry.

Sultan works with top distributors and retailers across Brazil, selling products in nearly every state, as well as clients throughout Europe, the United States, and even Japan.

In its early years, the brand spent nearly 6 years exclusively manufacturing and distributing products wholesale. Today, Sultan maintains a reliable retail presence on Mercado Livre and also operates its own e-commerce platform—an online factory store running since 2021. Additionally, the company offers its loyalty program, the first and so far only Loyalty and CashBack program in the Brazilian hookah market: the SULTAN CLUB.

The website is hosted on Nuvemshop with LGPD compliance ensured by AdOpt, and the Sultan Club platform is operated by Fidelizar+. In other words, Sultan spares no effort or investment when it comes to consumer safety.

Since May 2023, Sultan Hookah has coexisted with the new SKMT brand, launched by Grupo Sultan in partnership with the world’s largest hookah influencer and content creator, Gabriel Sakamoto. Affectionately known as “Saka” in Brazil and abroad, his YouTube channel Tudo Shisha e Misturado currently has more than 354 thousand subscribers, 978 videos, and has already received YouTube’s Silver Play Button.

In February 2025, Saka will complete 10 years as a content creator. During this time, he has gained extensive experience, research, and involvement in the market across multiple areas, having worked with hookah brands from several countries including Russia, Spain, Germany, Ukraine, Japan, the United States, and others. When it comes to hookah use and consumption, he is widely considered the most knowledgeable Brazilian by far. Even before creating his brand SKMT, he had already been working with Grupo Sultan for more than 6 years, contributing significantly to the company's growth and development.
